SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES
We believe sustainability starts with responsible water use.
Closed-Loop Water Management
We believe sustainability starts with responsible water use.
Our manufacturing process incorporates a fully closed-loop water recycling system, enabling us to significantly reduce freshwater consumption across emulsion polymerisation and spray drying. More than 75% of treated water is reused directly within our production and utility systems. The remaining portion is purified using Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) that separates contaminants with minimal environmental impact.
Since achieving Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) certification in 2017—the first in our state to do so—we’ve seen a 500% reduction in wastewater generation. Our system ensures that no untreated water leaves our facility, setting a benchmark in water stewardship.
Why it matters:
-
Minimizes dependence on freshwater sources
-
Prevents environmental discharge and supports regulatory compliance
-
Sets a new standard for industrial water conservation
-
Supports circular resource use within the plant

Energy-Efficient Spray Drying
We design every process to use less energy and emit less carbon.

Our spray drying operations are built around thermal efficiency and smart energy recovery. Waste heat from the exhaust stream is captured and reused to preheat incoming air, reducing overall energy consumption by up to 30%. We’ve also made a complete transition from diesel-fired to LPG-fired burners, marking a significant shift toward cleaner combustion technology. LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) burns cleaner than diesel, resulting in 15–20% lower CO₂ emissions, virtually no sulfur emissions, and reduced particulate matter. It also provides superior flame control, enabling better process consistency, faster heat-up times, and lower maintenance needs. These upgrades reflect our commitment to both environmental performance and product quality.
Why it matters:
-
Reduces carbon emissions and air pollutants
-
Enhances fuel efficiency and process control
-
Decreases maintenance costs and environmental impact
-
Supports cleaner, safer manufacturing conditions
Human Safety & Dust Control in Powder Handling
We safeguard our people and processes with rigorous containment and hygiene systems.

Powder handling and spray drying operations present critical occupational safety challenges. To address these, we’ve implemented enclosed, vacuum-based Powder Transfer Systems (PTS) with sequenced valve control, eliminating manual contact and spills. Our spray drying area is equipped with Cyclone Dust Separators and Pulse Jet Bag Filters to effectively capture fine particles before they can escape into the air. Explosion Vents have been recently installed to provide an additional level of safety. Complementing this, our facilities use fresh air circulation systems, continuous air quality monitoring, and solvent vapor management controls—resulting in a 1000% reduction in residual monomer and solvent traces over the past three years. These measures ensure a safe, compliant, and clean environment for our operators and surrounding ecosystem.
Why it matters:
-
Protects workers from inhalable dust and chemical exposure
-
Prevents product contamination and improves quality control
-
Aligns with global safety and hygiene standards (OSHA, REACH)
-
Reinforces a culture of safety and operational excellence
